A reimagination of one of my childhood favorite anime, this painting is heavily inspired by film photo’s strong black and white contrast and the exaggeration of cool and warm tone, the composition of the artwork consists of two point perspective for a heightened sense of depth. This scene of Takumi being asked to join the RedSun right after he defeated Ryosuke is a turning point in his career. The most challenging part of this painting was depicting the half dried and wet puddle under the car, it took me a week of street observations and trial and errors to finally achieved the effect.
