Spirited Away 2022
A re-imagination art piece of Spirited Away bath house. The mix of industrialisation and old japanese architecture was the backbone of this painting, the small figures of our characters supplements the sense of story in the context. I adored Myazaki’s background team, and their persistent use of hand painting throughout the years, despite the rapid change of the animation industry, this is an artwork that is a tribute to them.
