“I AM MALENIA BLADE OF MIQUELLA…” I have heard this roughly 40+ times before defeating the second hardest boss in soul-bourne series after the Orphan of Kos, But Myazaki’s storytelling, and art direction made this fight one of the most memorable.
This painting depicts an ordinary side of Malenia that players would not see when they enter the arena. The Softened lightning in the center, yet passionately theatrical, highlighting the figure of Malenia’s defenseless pose. opposing the general players’ sigma of her intimidating aura.
